Eucharist Catechesis for Parents

Sr. Susan James recently began offering a presentation (a kind of min-catechesis) on the Eucharist for parents of children who will be receiving their First Holy Communion. She was encouraged by the diocesan Director of Religious Education to develop such a program, and the results so far have been very positive.

Sr. Susan has given the presentation, entitled Jesus, the Bread of Life, at St. Pius (pictured above) and Nativity parishes in Menlo Park. Still to come are presentations at St. Luke's in Foster City and two more parishes in Palo Alto. If you think your parish may be interested, ask your DRE to contact Sr. Susan at (650)703-1106.
