Sr. Susan to Speak on St. Paul

Our own Sr. Susan James has been invited by the Young Adults Group of St. Dominic's Church in San Francisco to give a talk on St. Paul. Her presentation, The Story of Paul the Apostle, the Man Who Turned the World Upside Down, is scheduled for Wednesday, April 22nd, from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Here's a write-up of the event from St. Dominic's website:

We will consider St. Paul, his life and legacy as one of the greatest missionaries of the early church. Using a docudrama co-produced by the Paulist Fathers and the History Channel with narration by Martin Sheen, we will follow in the footsteps of Paul of Tarsus, listen to theologians reflect on his success in spreading the Word, analyze his writings and shed light on the man to whom the survival of Christianity owes so much. The evening will conclude with conversation around the central themes outlined in the program, inviting suggestions on ways to imitate and honor Paul in this Jubilee Year of his birth and welcome his example of Christian Discipleship for our own times.
