Deacon John Green will be our guest speaker on Wednesday, June 22nd. His presentation will focus on Missional Living and will share his insights regarding how the Lord guides us forward and sustains us in the mission to which he calls us as disciples of Jesus.John Green is the founder of Emmaus Ministries and is known for his work on the streets of Chicago. His ministry began over twenty years ago as a result of Green being struck by the horror of a homeless man throwing himself off a midtown-Manhattan building-right before his eyes. He is the author of recently published book Streetwalking with Jesus - Reaching Out In Justice and Mercy.
The presentation will begin at 7 pm followed by a Meet and Greet, where Deacon John Green will sign his new book.
